Manufacturing Department Atsushi Yasunaga
I joined Yokozaki Manufacturing because a high school teacher recommended that I do a variety of work, but ultimately I did some research and decided to join. Currently, I work in welding, product assembly, and parts processing. I ask questions about anything that concerns me during the manufacturing process and strive to make the products even better. I find it rewarding knowing that the things I make are used not only in Japan but all over the world. A good thing about this company is that everyone gets along well. My goal going forward is to become someone who can be trusted with any job. I also want to go on a company trip to Hawaii or Okinawa.

What made me decide to join Yokozaki was that they were manufacturing things I had never seen before, and I wanted to be involved in that. When I first joined the company, what impressed me was the size and variety of the products. Now I work on processing the steel plates that are the basis for products, and the materials needed to assemble machines. What makes my job rewarding is the sense of accomplishment I get when a product is shipped. I try to pay attention to every detail so that customers can use it safely and with peace of mind. The good thing about Yokozaki is that I can think for myself and work freely. In the future, I would like to become a senior who is respected by my juniors, just like my seniors.
